200100028 <br />'w ORDINANCE NO. 7606 (Contd) <br />as provided by law; <br />(c) The zoning classification of such tracts of land as shown on the <br />official zoning map of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, is <br />hereby confirmed; <br />(d) There is a unity of interest in the use of such tracts of land <br />and streets and highways with the use of lots, lands, streets, <br />and highways in the City, and the community convenience and <br />welfare and the interest of such City will be enhanced through <br />incorporating such lands and streets and highways within the <br />corporate limits of such City. <br />DEC. 1 8 19FA <br />SECTION 2. That the boundaries of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, be, and <br />hereby are, extended to include within the corporate limits of such City the contiguous <br />and adjacent tracts of land and street and highway in the Southeast Quarter (SE' /•) of <br />Section 26, and <br />in the Northeast <br />Quarter <br />(NEV4) of Section 35, <br />both in Township <br />11 North, Range <br />10 West of the <br />6th P.M., <br />Hall County, Nebraska, <br />more particularly <br />described as follows: <br />Beginning at a point being the intersection of the South line <br />of Husker Highway and the East line of North Road; thence <br />westerly on the South line of Husker Highway to a point being <br />the prolongation of the East line of Lot 66, Grand Island <br />Industrial Park West Subdivision; thence northerly on the East <br />line of Lot 66, Grand Island Industrial Park West Subdivision, <br />and a prolongation thereof for a distance of 980 feet; thence <br />easterly on the South line of said Lot 66 for a distance of <br />902.08 feet; thence northeasterly on the South line of said Lot <br />66 for a distance of 649.27 feet; thence northerly on the East <br />
