� -'��^� � � ��i� uti 7b- g � ORDINANCE N0. 145 An Ordinance to extend the boundaries and include within the Corporate limits of, and to annex to the City of Wood River, Hall County, Nebraska, certain contiguous and ' adjacent tracts of land in the Northeast Quarter (NE;) of Section Twenty-four (24), Township Ten (10) North, Range Twelve (12) West of the 6th P.M. , in Nall County, Nebraska; to provide for service benefits thereto; to provide severability. QE IT ORDATNED DY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WOOD RIVER, HALL COUNTY, NEBRASKA: SECTION ONE It is hereby found and determined by the City Council that: (a) The tracts of land in the Northeast Quarter (NE;) of Section Twenty-four (24) , Township Ten (10) North, Range Twelve (12) West of the 6th P.M. , in Hall County, Nebraska, as hereinafter more particularly described are, urban and suburban in character and adjacent to the Corporate limits of the City and as urban and suburban in character and adjacent to the Corporate limits of the City and as urban and suburban in character are not agricultural land rural in character; (b) Police, fire, and snow removal benefits are available thereto, city water service, and city sewer service will be available as provided by law. (c) There is a unity of interest in the use of such tracts of land withthe use of lots, lands, streets, and highways in the city, and the community convenience and welfare and the interests of the city will be enhanced through incorporating the lands within the Corporate limits of the city. SECTION 7410 The boundaries of the City of Wood River, Hall County, Nebraska, be, and hereby are, extended to include within the Corporate limits of the city the contiguous and adjacent tracts of land in the Northeast Quarter (NEQ) of Section Twenty-four (24), Township Ten (10) North, Range Twelve (12) West of the 6th P.M. , in Hall County, Nebraska, more particularly described as follows: Deginning at the Southeast corner of the North Half of the Northeast Quarter (N'ZNE4) of said Section Twenty-four (24); thence Southerly along the East line of said Section Twenty-four (24) a distance of twenty-four and five tenths (24.5' ) feet; thence deflecting right 77°37'40" and running Southwesterly, a distance of fifty- six and three tenths (56.3' ) feet, to a point on the 4Jesterly right-of-way line of Nighway #.11 , this being the actual place of beginning; thence continuing Southwesterly along the last described course a distance of four hundred ninety-one and seven tenths (491 .7' ) feet; thence deflecting right 89027'20" and running Northwesterly a distance of - � ,.�,..•,� three hundred eighty-three and three tenths (383.3' ) feet; �� N : thence deflecting right 91°25'20" and running Northeasterly � �r;` a distance of five hundred seventy-five and twenty-five � L hundredths (575.25') feet, to a point on the Westerly right- � ;:, sA ' uti . _, �: ,� �<. � ` i _J � ;_e, � +
