Horrower shall be in default if, during the Loan application process, <br /> Borrower or any persons or entlties acting at the direction of Horrower or with Horrower's Imowledge or <br /> consent gave materially false, misleading, or inaccurate information or statements W Lender(or failad to <br /> provide Lender with material information)in conneclion with the Loan. Mazerial representarions include, but <br /> aze not limited to, representations concerning Borrower's occupancy of the Properry as Borrower's principal <br /> residence. <br /> 9. Protec;lan of Lenders Inter� in the Property and IYgMs Under this Security InstrumeM. If(a) <br /> Borrower fails to perform the covensnts and agreements contained in tivs Security Instrument, (b)there is a <br /> legal proceeding that might significantly affect Lender's interest in the Property�d/or rights under this <br /> Security Inshument(such as a proceading in banlQuptcy, probate, for condemnation or forfeitaue, for <br /> enforcement of a lien wlrich may attain priority over this Security Inslrument or to enforce laws or <br /> regulations), or(c)Borrower hss abandoned the Property, then Lender may do and pay for whatever is <br /> reagonable or appropriate to protect Lender's interest in the Property and rights under tivs Security <br /> Inshvm�t, including protec[ing and/or assessing the value of the Property, and securing and/or repairing <br /> the Property. Lender's actions can include, but are not limited to: (a)paying any sums s�ured by a lien <br /> which bas priority over tlris Security Ins7ument; (b)appearing in cowt; and(c)paying reasonable attomeys' <br /> fees to protect its interest in the Proper[y and/or rights under tltis Security Instrument, including its secured <br /> position in a banlmiptcy proceeding.
