Defendant Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc., (hereafter "MERS") is <br />the beneficiary to the Deed of Trust as nominee for Wells Faxgo Home Mortgage, Inc. and its <br />successors and assigns. <br />7. The Deed of Trust references and describes the following real property situated in <br />Hall County, Nebraska: <br />Lots Four (4) and Five (5), Block Fifteen (15) in Evan's Addition to the City of <br />Grand Island, Ha11 County, Nebraska <br />8. Lot Four of the real property is designated in Hall County as Parcel Number <br />400129019 and Lot Five of the real property is designated in Hall County as Parcel Number <br />400129027. <br />9. On or about 1Vlarch 5, 2008, a public sale was held for the non-payment of taxes <br />for Lot Four, Parcel Number 400129019, of the real property (hereafter "Parcel Number <br />400129019"). As a result of this public sa1e, the Hall County Treasurer's Office issued Tax <br />Certificate Number 20080104 for Parcel Number 400129019 to the Phillip R. & Betty J. Moore <br />Partnership. Tax Certificate 20080104 covered delinquent t�es and/or special easements for <br />2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 for Parcel Number 400129019. On or about January 11, 2011, the <br />Phillip R. & Betty J. Moore Partnership assigned Tax Certificate Number 20080104 to Vandelay <br />Investments, L.L.C. <br />10. On or about July 29, ZO11, pursuant to Neb.Rev.Stat. §77-1837, the Hall County <br />Treasurer, as Grantor, granted and conveyed to Vandelay Investments, L.L.C., as Grantee, a <br />Treasurer's Tax Deed to Parcel Number 400129Q19. The Treasurer's Tax Deed was duly filed <br />and recorded in the Hall County Register of Deed's Office on August 3, 2011 as Instrument <br />Nunnber 0201105742. A true and correct copy of the Treasurer's Ta�c Deed is atta.ched hereto as <br />Exhibit "B". <br />11. On or about March 29, 2012, Vandelay Investments, L.L.C., as Grantor, executed <br />a Quitclaim Deed for Parcel Number 400129019 and delivered same in writing to Juan Garcia <br />and Ana Paxtle, as Grantees. The Quitclaim Deed was duly filed and recorded in the Ha11 <br />County Register of Deeds' Office on April 30, 2012.
