<br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING, SEPTEMBER 7, 1993

<br />The Hall County Board of Supervisors met at 9:00 a.m. from adjourned session
<br />and by published call with Chairman Gary Quandt presiding.
<br />
<br />Present on roll call were Irene Abernethy, Richard Frauen, Richard Hartman,
<br />Margaret Landis, Robert Leslie, Gary Quandt and Tammie Stelk. None were absent.
<br />
<br />Invocation was given by Abernethy.
<br />
<br />Pledge of Allegiance was given.
<br />
<br />Minutes of August 31st meeting were accepted as received on motion by Stelk,
<br />seconded by Frauen. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and
<br />Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.
<br />
<br />Deputy County Attorney Jerom Janulewicz was present.
<br />
<br />Report Manager Larry Taylor has left Fonner Keno. Have 3 applications for
<br />satellite locations and are checking them out and should have information
<br />to County Board in next few weeks.
<br />
<br />Stelk spoke in regard to Law Library Committee meeting and asked Janulewicz
<br />about donating the excess books to College, or must they sell. Janulewicz
<br />will check out and report back at later date.
<br />
<br />The Annual Hall County Budget message was presented and read. Stelk requested
<br />addition of line stating Fraternal Order of Police contract was approved at
<br />5% salary increases.
<br />
<br />Resolution to adopt the 1993-1994 Hall County Budget was presented.
<br />Motion by Stelk, seconded by Abernethy to adopt Resolution #1514 to
<br />adopt the 1993-1994 Hall County Budget. Chairman Quandt stated he was unhappy
<br />with the Park Superintendent salary being an excessive increase. Discussion
<br />followed. Question called for, Abernethy, Frauen, Landis, Leslie and Stelk
<br />voted yes, Quandt voted no, Hartman abstained. Motion carried.

<br />County Clerk reported with the adoption of the 1993-1994 Hall County Budget
<br />as presented with corrections made from the Public Hearing held last week
<br />the 1993-1994 tax asking set at $7,111,017.00, the tax levy will be .4688'
<br />
<br />Resolution was presented in regard to changes for one and six year road
<br />program due to the extremely wet weather conditons and with adoption of
<br />the 1993-1994 Hall county budget for the road department.
<br />
<br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Stelk to adopt Resolution #1515 as presented
<br />to c~ange th7 one and six year road program. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman,
<br />Land~s, Lesl~e, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.
