<br />~. <br /> <br />93;: -;< J>() <br /> <br />...) <br />~ <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />.'--- <br />RESOLUTION i ~~~-~ <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Hall County Board of Superviso~s would <br />recommend the following changes to the One an~ ~~x Year Road <br />Program due to the extremely wet weather cond~t~ons through <br />1993. <br /> <br />Project C40(238) Bridge replacement be delayed o~e year. <br />Project C40(245) One mile of asphalt be built ~h~s year <br />from inheritance funds, from the six Year Program. <br /> <br />Project C40(262) being one mile of as~halt on North R~ad' <br />from Schimmer Drive to Husker Hwy. and ProJect C40(263) be~ng <br />one mile of asphalt on Schimmer Road from North Road to <br />Engleman Road be added to this years program. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Hall County <br />Board of' Supervisors make the above changes to the One and <br />Six Year Program, due to the extremely wet weather <br />condi~~ns . . <br /> <br />DA~~4if1.1o '2 ' 1993. <br /> <br />7 ~ "ALl. ~. Park Committee reported <br />the $5000.00 from Reynolds Foundation is to be used for seeding at County <br />Park and they haye authorized up to $2500.00 additional to be paid out of <br />the regular County Park budget. <br /> <br />County Clerk presented the 1993 Inventories as have been filed in the <br />Clerk's office. <br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Leslie to receive the 1993 inventories <br />as presented, to be checked at later date. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, <br />Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />COMMUNICATIONS: <br /> <br />1. Grand Island Mayor Dobesh, in regard to letter from County expressing <br />interest in the City Hall Building located at 208 N. Pine Street. Issue' <br />is on the City Council Study Session of Tuesday, September 7, 1993. <br /> <br />2. Grand Island Director of Public Works, Wayne L. Bennett in regard to <br />Sanitary Sewer District No. 474, Seedling Mile Road to Gregory Avenue <br />for Lot 3 Dahlke Subdivion which county owns. (Letter was referred to <br />County Attorney's office since county has sold the lot). <br /> <br />3. Nebraska Machinery Co sales representative Larry Schmidt in regard to <br />proposal to trade caterpillar with 850 hours for new 1993 caterpillar <br />(placed on County Board's agenda for next week's meeting.) <br /> <br />4. Copy of the State of Nebraska Department of Roads agreement in regard <br />to Project NO. .STPE-2l50 (4) Cairo Southeast, Supplement Agreement No.2. <br /> <br />Motion by .Stelk, seconded by Hartman to place on file the communications <br />received today. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and <br />Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Scott Erickson, former Pitney Bowes Postage employee, who now owns his own <br />business of Business Office Systems requested permission to re-evaluate the <br />postage mailing for Hall County and consider changing back to old system of <br />County using postage machine instead of using Preferred Mail Service. <br />Board Members requested more information and to have Board Assistant contact <br />Preferred Mail Service representative for next week's meeting. <br />
