<br />96P -If/f <br /> <br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISIORS MEETING MAY 7, 1996 <br /> <br />The Hall County Board of Supervisors met at 9:00 A.M. from adjourned <br />session and by published call, in the County Board Meeting Room, <br />Administration Building, 121 South Pine, Grand Island. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order by Chair Tammie Stelk. <br /> <br />INVOCATION: Invocation was given by Reverend Scott Heine, Evangelical <br />Free Church. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL: Present on roll call were Irene Abernethy, Margaret Landis, <br />Robert Leslie, Gary Quandt, Judy Rosenkotter and Tammie Stelk. Richard <br />Hartman arrived at 9:08 A.M. <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE APRIL 30 MEETING: Corrections were made to the minutes <br />and Rosenkotter made a motion and Abernethy seconded to accept the <br />minutes and the office report and place on file. Abernethy, Hartman, <br />Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk all voted yes and none <br />voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />IN THE COUNTY COURT OF HALL COUNTY, NEBRASKA <br /> <br />COMES NOW, Barbara L. Holtgrewe, Deputy Clerk in and for <br />Hall County, Nebraska, and hereby reports funds collected and <br />remitted to the Hall County Treasurer for the Month of April, 1996. <br /> <br />Fines <br />Overload Fines <br />Reimbursement of Sheriff Fees <br />Work Release Fees <br />Reimbursement of Attorney fees <br /> <br />$ 40,268.25 <br />150.00 <br />1,299.01 <br />1,703.00 <br />50.00 <br /> <br />COUNTY ATTORNEY: Deputy County Attorney Jerry Janulewicz was <br />present. Landis questioned a fax recieved from the Office of <br />Economic Adjustment conerning a meeting. Janulewicz will discuss <br />this with Andy Baird and Margaret Landis. <br /> <br />Jerry Janulewicz will be presenting the oral arguments Wednesday, <br />May 8, at the Supreme Court in Lincoln on the appeal of the valuation <br />set by the State Board of Equalization for Hall County. The final <br />decision will be handed down in six weeks. <br /> <br />MARILYN FOX MULTICULTURAL YOUTH LEADERSHIP: Marilyn Fox, extension <br />educator, from College Park, explained that a grant was submitted <br />andrecieved for the multicultural youth leadership program. She <br />highlighted some of the activities that were covered in this conferance. <br />The students from Walnut Junior High will be eligable to attend the <br />govenor~ conferance on youth leadership. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION FROM NORWEST BANK FOR ADDITIONAL COLLATERAL: The <br />resolution from Norwest Bank for additonal collateral was read. <br />Abernethy made a motion and Rosenkotter seconded to approve resolution <br />96-0027. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and <br />Stelk all voted yes and none voted no.
