RES 0 L UTI 0 N4c10 - O/U'9'''Z6lSbS13 WHEREAS, there has been signed by Hall County on the 14th day of April ,19~randthe State on the 2nd day of June ,19 -21L-, an agreement providing for the construction of a Federal Aid Project beg inning a t the Sou theas t Corner of Section 21, Township 10 North, Range 9 West and extends 1.05 kilometers north, stopping at that point; then resuming 0.32 kilometers north of the stopping point and extending 5.95 kilometers north, terminating approximately 0.89 kilometers north of the South- east Corner of Section 33, Township 11 North, Range 9 West ,and WHEREAS, in the above agreement, the County nas pledged sufficient funds to finance its share of the cost of the construction of this project identified as S TPE - S TP AA - 2 235 ( 2 ) , and WHEREAS, the above mentioned agreement provided that the County would pay all costs not paid for with Federal or State funds, and WHEREAS, the State received bids for the construction of this project on December 7, 2000 at which time 5 bids were received for the construction of this proposed work, and WHEREAS, the following contractor(s) for the items of work listed has been selected as the low bidder(s) to whom the contract(s) should be awarded: The Diamond Engineering Company, Grand Island, Nebraska; Grading, Culvert(s), Bridge(s), Guardrail, Bituminous, General Items; $1,402,914.24 NOW THEREFORE, in Supervisors m official action: consideration of the above facts, the Board of Hall County, by this resolution, takes the following 1. If for any reason the Federal Highway Administration rescinds. limits its obligations, or defers payment of the Federal share of the cost of this project, the County hereby agrees to provide the necessary funds to pay for all costs incurred until and in the event such Federal funds are allowed and paid. 2. The Board hereby concurs in the selection of the above mentioned contractor(s) for the items of work listed. to whom the contract(s) should be awarded. 3. The Board hereby authorizes the Chairman to sign the contract(s) with the above mentioned contractor(s) for the above mentioned work. 4.
