<br /> <br />Office of the County Board of Supervisors <br />Hall County <br /> <br /> <br />NATIONAL HOME CARE MONTH <br />NOVE~ER 2000 <br /> <br />PROCLAMATION <br /> <br />Whereas, home care is the most preferred method of health care delivery among disabled, elderly <br />and chronically ill individuals eager to live independently in their own homes; and <br /> <br />Whereas, home care in the United States is a growing alternative to hospitalization for acute and <br />chronic illnesses, serving millions of Americans each year; and <br /> <br />Whereas, home care allows families to stay together, and provides for happier, healthier <br />communities, and <br /> <br />Whereas, thousands of everyday heroes such as home care nurses, therapists, home care aides, <br />volunteers and home care administrators and their staff work tirelessly to provide professional health care <br />and support to millions of Americans in need of quality health services, and <br /> <br />Whereas, these dedicated home care professionals and volunteers form a support network that will <br />continue to playa vital role in health care delivery for the nation's aging population; and <br /> <br />Whereas, Tabitha Health Care Services, St Francis Home Health/Hospice, Option Care and Home <br />Care & Companions have joined home care agencies across the United States have declared the month of <br />November 2000 as National Home Care Month and are calling on all Americans to observe this occasion <br />with appropriate ceremonies and activities; <br /> <br />Now, therefore, be it resolved that 1, Richard Hartman, Chairperson, do hereby proclaim <br />November 2000 as <br /> <br />NATIONAL HONIE CARE MONTH <br /> <br />in the county of Hall and encourage the support and participation of all citizens in learning more about the <br />home care concept of care for the elderly, disabled, and infirm. <br /> <br />In witness whereof I have hereunto set my <br />hand d caused this seal to be affix~ <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br /> <br />Richard Hartman, Chairperson <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
