<br />20000456 <br /> <br />14 EXECUTIVE SESSION TO DISCUSS LAND LEASE NEGOTIATIONS: Logan made <br />a motion and Lancaster seconded to go into executive session. Arnold, Hartman, <br />Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis and Logan all voted yes and none voted no. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />11 :00 a.m. executive session <br /> <br />11 :30 a.m. Logan made a motion and Lancaster seconded to go out of executive <br />session. Arnold, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis and Logan all voted <br />yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />BOARD ASSISTANT REPORT: Board Assistant Stacey Ruzicka included the progress <br />report in the packets and stated that there will be an audit committee meeting after the <br />board meeting. Career day will be held at Fonner Park tomorrow and the dedication of <br />the St. Stephens Community Center will also be tomorrow. <br /> <br />BOARD MEMBER'S REPORTS: Logan - He thanked the Human Relations Committee <br />for their work and stated that he will be attending career day at Fonner Park tomorrow. <br /> <br />Jeffries - He attended the Grand Island Rural Fire Department meeting and the <br />extension board meeting. He will also attend career day. <br /> <br />Lancaster - She attended the Crime Stoppers meeting and stated this is a good <br />organization. She stated she has not received any information from board members on <br />the various committees. The Convention Visitors Bureau board is governed by state <br />statute. She also stated that the county board member on the Stuhr Museum board <br />does not have a voted but they appreciate having a county board member present. <br />She requested that the board members submit information to her on the committees. <br /> <br />Arnold - He attended the Head Start Policy Council meeting along with Pam Lancaster <br />and the UFCW union negotiations. <br /> <br />Humiston - He attended the GIS meeting and stated that there is an upcoming <br />workshop. <br /> <br />Landis - She stated that they are starting to work on the last sale of land at CAAP and <br />stated that they will need to hold another Reuse meeting. At the last sale the tracts of <br />land were divided into smaller tracts but they were still purchased by larger companies. <br />The next sale will be the largest. She also commented on information she received on <br />an old bomb line blowing up. <br /> <br />Hartman - He attended the Grand Island Rural Fire District meeting and they are <br />working on the problems that they have. <br /> <br />Jeffries - He stated that he attended the town hall meeting on the oder problems in <br />
