20000448 Logan made a motion and Jeffries seconded to approve the liquor license for Fonner View Golf. Arnold, Hartman, Humiston Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis and Logan all voted yes and no one voted no. Motion carried. County Clerk Marla Conley received a claim in August from JIL for paving costs that were to come from the 2000-2001 ken budget and this could no be approved until the budget was approved. JIL has requested payment. Jeffries made a motion and Arnold seconded to add this as an emergency item to the agenda and to approve the claim for JIL Asphalt in the amount of $61,580.80 to be paid from the keno fund. Arnold, Hartman, Humiston Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis and Logan all voted yes and no one voted no. Motion carried. Jeffries stated that Public Works Director Marsha Medberry called concerning the bids for the truck boxes. She stated that after examining the bids, the bid from LCL Truck and Equipment did not include spreaders and this would be an additional cost the bid that was received from Matt Friend did include spreaders, so it would be the low bid, Jeffries made a motion and Lancaster seconded to rescind the previous motion to accept the bid from LCL Truck and Equipment for the truck boxes. Arnold, Hartman, Humiston Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis and Logan all voted yes and no one voted no. Motion carried. Jeffries made a motion and Lancaster seconded to award the bid for the truck boxes to Matt Friend with a total bid of $29,835.00. Arnold, Hartman, Humiston Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis and Logan all voted yes and no one voted no. Motion carried. NEW OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS: Chairman Hartman called for new or unfinished business and no one responded.
