EXECUTIVE SESSION NEGOTIATION OF GENERAL LIABILITY CLAIM: Arnold <br />made a motion and Jeffries seconded to go into executive session. Arnold, Hartman, <br />Humiston, Lancaster, Landis and Logan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Jeffries made a motion and Humiston seconded to direct the insurance director to deny <br />the general liability claim. . Arnold, Hartman, Humiston, Lancaster, Landis and Logan all <br />voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />BOARD ASSISTANT'S REPORT: Stacy Ruzicka reminded the board members of the <br />joint city/county health board meeting June 15, 2000 at 6:00 a.m. and that the health <br />board will meet at 5:15 a.m. and there will be a work study session on Monday June 19 <br />for the discussion on developer discounts. <br /> <br />BOARD MEMBER'S REPORTS: Logan reported that he attended the budget work- <br />study session. <br />Jeffries - He attended the human relations committee meeting and the budget work <br />study session. <br /> <br />Lancaster - She stated her meetings had been reported on. <br /> <br />Hartman - He attended the weed board meeting and Mr. Humiston submitted his <br />resignation so an appointment to the weed board will need to be made. <br /> <br />Arnold - He attended the corrections steering committee meeting and the corrections <br />union negotiations meeting. He reported that in the internet policy it was stated that an <br />employee could be disciplined for misuse of the internet, but the committee does not <br />have the authority to discipline employees the internet use would be discontinued. <br /> <br />Humiston - No report. <br /> <br />Landis - She attended the budget work-study session and the board reviewed the <br />budget letter at that time. This letter will need to be distributed to the elected and <br />appointed officials with their budget sheets. Landis made a motion and Lancaster <br />seconded to approve the budget letter and to distribute it to the elected and appointed <br />officials. Arnold, Hartman, Humiston, Lancaster, Landis and Logan all voted yes and <br />none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS - None <br />
