Said resolution shall be published once a week for three consecutive weeks in a legal <br />newspaper published in the county or, if none is published in the county, in a legal newspaper of <br />general circulation in the county. Whenever possible the board shall cause copies to be served by <br />either registered or certified mail upon the owners of land abutting on or adjacent to the road to be <br />vacated or abandoned by mailing the same to the last-known address of each owner not less than <br />two weeks in advance of the hearing. <br />NOW BE IT RESOLVED that a public hearing on May 23,2000 at J ()',O()QlY\o'clock <br />_a.m. in the County Board Room, Hall County Administration Building, 121 South Pine Street, <br />Grand Island, Nebraska on the vacation or abandonment of the South One Thousand (1000) Feet <br />of 60th Road North of the North Channel of the Platte River, described more specifically as <br />follows: <br /> <br />The County Road and County Road Right-of-Way upon a tract ofland extending <br />Thirty-three feet on each side of a line beginning at a point on the westerly line of <br />Lot Seven (7), Section Twenty-eight (28), Township Ten (10) North, Range Ten <br />(10) West of the 6th Prime Meridian, Hall County, Nebraska, said point being <br />Seven Hundred Forty-one and Twenty Hundredths (741.20) Feet South of the <br />Northwest Comer of Said Lot Seven (7), thence Southerly Nine Hundred Seventy- <br />seven and Ninety-eight Hundredths (977.98) Feet to the bank of the Platte River; <br />thence continuing Southerly along the same course to the centerline of the Platte <br />River. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be directed to cause this resolution <br />to be published once a week for three consecutive weeks in the Grand Island Independent and <br />cause copies to be served by either registered or certified mail upon the owners of land abutting <br />on or adjacent to the road to be vacated or abandoned by mailing the same to the last-known <br />address of each owner not less than two weeks in advance of the hearing. <br /> <br />Resolution moved by Supervisor -~'A ri Jp.\-\ r " ~ <c::, <br /> <br /> <br />Seconded by Supervisor '---ro hI'\.
