OF 60TH BOARD NORTH OF THE <br />NORTH CHANNEL OF THE PLATTE RIVER: Deputy County Attorney Jerry Janulewicz <br />prepared the resolution for this public hearing. Jeffries made a motion and Stelk <br />seconded to approve Resolution #00-0042 setting a public hearing for May 23, 2000 at <br />10:00 a.m. on the proposed vacation or abandonment of the south one thousand feet of <br />60th road North of the North channel of the Platte River within Hall County, Nebraska. <br />Arnold, Hartman, Jeffries, Lancaster and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no with <br />Landis and Logan absent for the vote. Motion carried. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #oo-~ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION <br />OR ABANDONMENT OF THE SOUTH ONE THOUSAND (1000) FEET OF 60TH ROAD <br />NORTH OF THE NORTH CHANNEL OF THE PLATTE RIVER WITIDN HALL <br />COUNTY, NEBRASKA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, A petition requesting the closing of the South One Thousand (1000) Feet of <br />60th Road North of the North Channel of the Platte River was filed with the Hall County Clerk on <br />March 14, 2000;and <br />WHEREAS, The Hall County Board of Supervisors, pursuant to Neb.Rev.Stat. 939-1722 <br />directed the Hall County Public Works Director to study the use being made of such public road <br />and to submit in writing to the county board within thirty days, a report upon the study made and <br />his recommendation as to the vacation or abandonment thereof; and <br />WHEREAS, On April 11, 2000, the Hall County Board of Supervisors received the <br />report of the study made and recommendations as to the vacation or abandonment of the South <br />One Thousand (1000) Feet of 60th Road; and <br />WHEREAS, Neb.Rev.Stat. 939-1724 requires that upon receipt of such a report the <br />county board shall adopt a resolution fixing the time, date, and place for public hearing.
