Motion carried. <br /> <br />19 DISCUSS COUNTY DAY AT THE RACES: Jeffries met with the elected and <br />appointed officials and selected May 6 for county day at the races. Five employees will <br />be recognized for their tenure with the county. The employees will receive passes to get <br />in the gate. The blanket will be awarded in the tenth race. <br /> <br />BOARD ASSISTANT'S REPORT: Stacey included her progress report and informed the <br />board members that the bill addressing eminent domain was killed. She also informed <br />them that Pat Larson with the GIS Department will be leaving. <br /> <br />BOARD MEMBER'S REPORTS: Logan - He attended the FOP negotiations. <br /> <br />Jeffries - He addressed a discussed a bill that has been introduced that will allow <br />personal property tax unless it is used for public use. <br /> <br />Stelk - She attended the ADA committee meeting and discussed the two hour parking <br />limit. She also attended the interviews for the health department director, the extension <br />department board meeting was cancelled because of the basketball tournaments. There <br />was an insurance committee meeting at 8:45 a.m. today and there will be a computer <br />committee meeting tomorrow at 8:00. The also has a meeting with the county <br />superintendent of schools. <br /> <br />Landis - She attended the NRD meeting and Bud Jeffries and Dick Hartman were also <br />there. <br /> <br />Hartman - He attended the weed board meeting. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 1 :30 a.m. The next meeting will be March 28 at 9:00 a.m. <br /> <br /> <br />7llai& ~ ~g~ <br />Marla J.
