CHUCK KAUFMAN DISCUSSION ON MINOR RENOVATIONS TO COURT <br />HOUSE- Jeffries stated that building & Grounds Director Chuck Kaufman is requesting <br />$10,000.00 from the inheritance fund for security renovations to the courthouse. The <br />renovations will be to the front of the court house building. Jeffries made a motion and <br />Lancaster seconded to approve the request. Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, <br />Jeffries, Lancaster and Logan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />10:33 a.m. Board of Equalization meeting. <br /> <br />10:43 a.m. Returned to regular session. <br /> <br />2e. EXECUTIVE SESSION TO DISCUSS NEGOTIATION STRATEGY INTERLOCAL <br />AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND - Eriksen made a motion and <br />Jeffries seconded to go into executive session. Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, <br />Jeffries, Lancaster and Logan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />10:46 a.m. executive session <br /> <br />10:58 a.m. Lancaster made a motion and Jeffries seconded to go out of executive <br />session. Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster and Logan all voted <br />yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />10:59 a.m. EXECUTIVE SESSION PERFORMANCE EVALUATION - Jeffries made a <br />motion and Lancaster seconded to go into executive session regarding personal <br />evaluation. Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster and Logan all voted <br />yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />11 :13 a.m. Jeffries made a motion and Arnold seconded to go out of executive session. <br />Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster and Logan all voted yes and <br />none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Lancaster made a motion and Jeffries seconded to refer the personal evaluation to the <br />personal committee to meet with the department head. Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, <br />Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster and Logan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />7 DISCUSS AND APPROVE CLOSING TIME FOR CHRISTMAS EVE - According to <br />the county handbook the county board will set the closing time for Christmas Eve. <br />Jeffries made a motion and Lancaster seconded to close the county buildings at 12:00 <br />p.m. Christmas Eve. Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries Lancaster and Logan <br />all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />9 LONG RANGE PLANNING COMMITTEE UPDATE - Logan stated that he would like <br />to have the consultants come out after the first of the year to go over the long-range plan <br />with the full board. He questioned if the audit committee should look at the financing and <br />bonding issues for the jail. He questioned if the audit committee could set up a meeting <br />to work on the request for proposals for a fiscal agent. It is important to get this process <br />started. The long-range planning committee also needs to meet with the department <br /> <br />6 <br />
