r-01264 BOARD ASSISTANT'S REPORT: Stacey Ruzicka reminded the board members of the Convention Visitors Bureau luncheon and the Youth Leadership tomorrow graduation that will be held on May 10. BOARD MEMBER'S REPORTS: Logan - He stated he attended the law enforcement recognition banquet, the budget work-study session and the long range planning meetings. Lancaster - She stated she participated in the Goodwill Gran Prix and they beat the City Council. She stated she attended the Senior Citizens meeting and reported that May is "Senior Citizens Month" and she also attended several HeadStart meetings, and the Midland Area Agency on Aging meeting. She is a Grandmother for the second with the birth of her grandson Sam. Arnold - He attended the long- range planning meeting, the law enforcement recognition banquet, the Stuhr Museum board meeting, HeadStart, the Goodwill Gran Prix races, the Midland Area on Aging meeting, and reported that HeadStart is going through the three year review. Humiston - He did not have any meetings but has several meetings coming up. Eriksen - He attended the work study session, the NACO Board of Equalization meeting in Kearney and he attended the extension board meeting. He reported that at the board of equalization meetings there was information on the taxation of public lands. Hartman - He stated he attended several meetings some have already been reported on. NEW OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS Chairman Hartman called for new business and no one responded. The board members thanked Mr. Jeffries for county day at the races.
