<br />~ Ot1-40 <br /> <br />6. BID OPENING SKID STEER LOADER FOR PARK/BUILDING AND GROUNDS: <br />Arnold made a motion and Jeffries seconded to open the bids. Arnold, Hartman, <br />Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster and Logan all voted yes and none voted no with Eriksen <br />absent for the vote. <br /> <br />The following bids were opened: <br />BIDDER LIST BID PRICE NET COST DELIVERY <br />CENTRAL NE BOBCAT $20,734.00 $13,550.00 4/03/2001 <br />TONER'S INC $17,989.00 $12,253.00 5/15/2001 <br />THIRD CITY NEW <br />HOLLAND $20,398.00 $14,950.00 30 - 60 DAYS <br /> <br />Jeffries made a motion and Humiston seconded to refer the bids to the building and <br />grounds committee and come back at the March 27 meeting with a decision. Arnold, <br />Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster and Logan all voted yes and none voted <br />no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />10:25 a.m. the Chair called for a break. <br /> <br />10:35 a.m. Returned to session. <br /> <br />10 DISCUSS WEED BOARD REPLACEMENT: The weed board replacement must be <br />filled in 45 days, which would be March 2th. Board Assistant Stacey Ruzicka suggested <br />to advertise though March 2 to March 22 and to hold a work-study session on March 26 <br />at 5:00 p.m. for the interviews. Humiston made a motion and Jeffries second to <br />advertise the position and to hold the interview on March 26 at 5:00 p.m. Arnold, <br />Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster and Logan all voted yes and none voted <br />no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />11 EXECUTIVE SESSION PERFORMANCE APPRAISALS: Jeffries made a motion and <br />Lancaster seconded to go into executive session. Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, <br />Jeffries, Lancaster and Logan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />10:40 a.m. executive session <br /> <br />10:50 a.m. Arnold made a motion and Eriksen seconded to go out of executive session. <br />Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster and Logan all voted yes and <br />none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Jeffries made a motion and Logan seconded to authorize the personal committee to <br />present the performance appraisal to the employee. Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, <br />Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster and Logan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />12 DISCUSS AND TAKE ACTION ON REVISED EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK: Lancaster <br />stated the handbook was reviewed by the elected and appointed officials and the <br />personal committee. The elected and appointed officials made suggestions for revision <br />
