<br />./ <br />\.-I 01-139 <br /> <br />9 CITY/COUNTY BOARD OF HEALTH COMMITTEE DISCUSS WORK-STUDY <br />SESSION DATE AND AGENDA ITEMS: The health board met last week and Jim <br />Eriksen stated they are working on information and want to inform the public. City <br />Administrator Marlin Ferguson was at the meeting and they would like to hold a work- <br />study session April 18 or 19 this would include the City, County and the Health Board <br />and the meeting would be held at the Health Department. If there are other concerns <br />that may want to be discussed they could be placed on the agenda for the meeting. <br />Lancaster stated that this was a good idea and they could tour the facility. Eriksen <br />stated that this is to be an informational meeting but the board can address other <br />concerns they are hoping to keep the lines of communication open. The meeting will be <br />April 18 or 19 at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />10:00 A.M. BID OPENING ANNUAL GRAVEL LETTING Jeffries made a motion and <br />Eriksen seconded to open the gravel bids. Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries <br />and Lancaster all voted yes with Logan absent for the vote. Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster and Logan all voted <br />yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />5c COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION REGARDING THE CAMPBELL GRAVESITE AT <br />AMICK ACRES: The following committee recommendation was read: <br /> <br />PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION <br />The Hall County Public Works Committee recommends the Hall County Board of <br />Supervisors allow $25,000.00 to be put in the 2001-2002 Road Fund Budget to help pay <br />for the asphalt around the Campbell Grave site in Amick Acres Subdivision. <br /> <br />Jeffries made a motion and Logan to accept the recommendation and budget for the <br />$25,000.00 in the 2001-2002 Road Fund Budget. Jeffries explained that there is a <br />monument for the Campbell Graves off of Platte Valley Road and they would like to pave <br />around this area. The site was awarded to the Nebraska State Historical Society. This <br />is a gravel road and at times is not passable. The road department is frequently at the <br />site trying to grade the road. Discussion was held. Eriksen proposed an amendment <br />that the county would pay 25% of the cost of the paving and not to exceed $30,000.00. <br />Jeffries amended his motion to pay the 25% and not to exceed $30,000.00. Logan <br />seconded the amendment. Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster and <br />Logan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br />
