f 01016 NEBR TRUCK OPTIONS NO BID $19,718.00 $100.00 $19618.00 + Jeffries made a motion and Logan seconded to refer the bids to the Building and Grounds Committee. Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster and Logan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. 10:35 a.m. recessed for the Building & Grounds Committee to review the bids. Returned to regular session and Jeffries made a motion and Logan seconded to accept the bid from Anderson Ford on the 2001 Ford pickup. They recommended to purchase a V6 motor and to add air-conditioning as one of the options. Most of the miles on this vehicle will be in the city of Grand Island. Arnold, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries and Logan all voted yes, Eriksen voted no and Lancaster was not present for the vote. Motion carried. NEW OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS - none 7 10:45 A.M. PUBLIC HEARING BUDGET AMENDMENT: Logan made a motion and Jeffries seconded to open public hearing on the budget amendment. Brad Fegley was present regarding the public hearing and stated that they originally thought it would be necessary to have the funding for the industrial development bond for Global Inc. run through the county. Jerry Janulewicz and Brad Fegley contacted the state auditor's office and after further review these funds will not go through the county and it is not necessary to amend the budget. Jerry Janulewicz submitted a letter to the county board addressing this mater. Logan made a motion and Jeffries seconded to close the public hearing. Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster and Logan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. Chairman Hartman requested that the board members submit information and committee requests to Board Assistant Stacey Ruzicka.
