<br />f 01016 <br /> <br />NEBR TRUCK <br />OPTIONS <br /> <br />NO BID <br /> <br />$19,718.00 $100.00 <br /> <br />$19618.00 + <br /> <br />Jeffries made a motion and Logan seconded to refer the bids to the Building and <br />Grounds Committee. Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster and Logan <br />all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />10:35 a.m. recessed for the Building & Grounds Committee to review the bids. <br /> <br />Returned to regular session and Jeffries made a motion and Logan seconded to accept <br />the bid from Anderson Ford on the 2001 Ford pickup. They recommended to purchase <br />a V6 motor and to add air-conditioning as one of the options. Most of the miles on this <br />vehicle will be in the city of Grand Island. Arnold, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries and <br />Logan all voted yes, Eriksen voted no and Lancaster was not present for the vote. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />NEW OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS - none <br /> <br />7 10:45 A.M. PUBLIC HEARING BUDGET AMENDMENT: Logan made a motion and <br />Jeffries seconded to open public hearing on the budget amendment. Brad Fegley was <br />present regarding the public hearing and stated that they originally thought it would be <br />necessary to have the funding for the industrial development bond for Global Inc. run <br />through the county. Jerry Janulewicz and Brad Fegley contacted the state auditor's <br />office and after further review these funds will not go through the county and it is not <br />necessary to amend the budget. Jerry Janulewicz submitted a letter to the county board <br />addressing this mater. <br /> <br />Logan made a motion and Jeffries seconded to close the public hearing. Arnold, <br />Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster and Logan all voted yes and none voted <br />no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Chairman Hartman requested that the board members submit information and <br />committee requests to Board Assistant Stacey Ruzicka. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 11 :00 a.m. The next meeting will be January 23, 2001 at 9:00 <br />a.m. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />REMINDER: The County Board meetings may be viewed on GITV Cable Channel 6 and <br />UHF channel 56 Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. and Friday at 8:00 a.m. <br />
