BID OPENING FOR LEASE SPACE FOR PUBLIC DEFENDER AND PROBATION <br />OFFICE - The following bids were received: <br /> <br />BIDDER LOCATION TOTAL BID <br />SCOTT & SHERI ARNOLD 216 WEST SECOND PURCHASE BUILDING FOR $83,844.00 <br /> <br />NICK JAMSON ENT. <br /> <br />401-411 WEST THIRD RENTAL PRICE $10.00 SQUARE FOOT <br />115 WEST CHARLES RENTAL PRICE $5.00 SQUARE FOOT <br />1502 SOUTH LOCUST RENTAL PRICE $7.75 SQUARE FOOT <br />1800 WEST SECOND RENTAL PRICE $6.00 SQUARE FOOT <br /> <br />JAMES A. BEL TZER <br /> <br />DOUTHIT REAL TY <br /> <br />TIERONE BANK <br /> <br />Logan made a motion and Eriksen seconded to refer the bids to the long range planning <br />committee to come back with a recommendation. Lancaster appointed Dick Hartman to serve <br />on the committee to replace Scott Arnold. Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster and <br />Logan all voted yes and none voted no. Arnold abstained. <br /> <br />Discussion was held on the Health and Human Services department moving into the old city <br />hall. Lancaster stated that she has a letter from Schroeder and Shriner Development Company <br />concerning a proposal for the development of the old city hall building. The long-range <br />planning committee will meet to discuss this issue and come back to the full board. <br /> <br />BOARD ASSISTANT'S REPORT - Stacy Ruzicka included the progress report and reminded <br />the board members to return the performance evaluation. <br /> <br />BOARD MEMBER'S REPORTS - Hartman - no report <br /> <br />Humiston - He had several meetings and reported that they are working on the interJocal <br />agreement with the city. <br /> <br />Eriksen - no report <br /> <br />Logan - all reported on <br /> <br />Jeffries - no report <br /> <br />Arnold - no report <br /> <br />Lancaster - She stated that she attended a panel discussion with the representatives from the <br />county of Yemen. They are here to learn how to provide local government. This is in <br />conjunction with the International Visitors Council. <br />
