Chairman Pamela Lancaster presented Richard Hartman with a plaque recognizing his <br />service as Hall County Board Chairman for 2001 and she thanked him for his work. <br /> <br />Lancaster stated that the board members would not change chairs until the next <br />meeting. Lancaster asked County Attorney Jerry Janulewicz if the board could do the <br />jail tour first and come back for the Board of Corrections meeting. Janulewicz stated that <br />the Board of Corrections meeting was advertised for 11 :00 a.m. so the board could do <br />the jail tour and then recess but they would have to come back at 11 :00 a.m. for the <br />board of corrections meeting because it was advertised that way. <br /> <br />PUBLIC PARTICIPATION - Chairman Lancaster called for public participation. Louise <br />Miller, 1104 West Charles requested to speak. She asked the board to rescind the <br />motion to sell the land at the Cornhusker Army Ammunition Plant to Nebraska Public <br />Power District. She provided the board members with information on alternate energy. <br />Hall County is loosing valuable farmland. She also questioned the use of interpreters. <br />
