<br />F03234 <br /> <br />Eriksen - He missed the ALVE Board meeting yesterday. He attended the Region III <br />Health Services meeting and attended a workshop sponsored by NACO on leadership. <br />This was an excellent workshop and he stated they would have more in the future. <br /> <br />Rye - He attended the multi-cultural coalition meeting and they are looking for a director <br />and locations to hold the meetings. <br /> <br />Jeffries - He attended a public works meeting concerning the placement of the historical <br />marker and a conditional use committee meeting. He also attended personnel meeting. <br /> <br />Arnold - He attended conditional use committee meeting and public works committee <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Lancaster - She attended the Midland Area Agency on Aging and both Bob Rye and <br />Scott Arnold also attended this meeting. She also reported that the US Marshall Service <br />continues to contact Hall County concerning the status of the new county jail. <br /> <br />NEW OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS - Chairman Lancaster called for new or unfinished <br />business and Jeffries stated he received information on March 24 concerning the closing <br />of railroad crossings. This information stated that crossing could be closed for 4 hours at <br />a time. He tried to find information on the current regulations and was not able to find <br />out what the current rules were. Hartman stated that if crossings are blocked the Sheriff <br />can ticket the engineer and maybe the sheriff's department would have regulations. The <br />response to this was to be done by April 3, 2003, but without more information he did not <br />respond but will continue to check on this matter. <br /> <br />Chairman Lancaster called for old business and no one responded. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned 1: 10 p.m. The next meeting will be April 22, 2003. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />8 <br />
