Ms. Stienke stated she would need the title <br />for the old 1991 handi bus. <br /> <br />Arnold made a motion and Jeffries seconded to set the public hearing for April 22, 2003 <br />at 9:45 a.m. for the application for the federal funds for the handi bus. Arnold, Eriksen, <br />Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster and Rye all voted yes and none voted no. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />5e PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION FOR HISTORICAL MARKER <br />NORTH OF WOOD RIVER - The public works committee met concerning the request <br />from Rosalie Lippincott for the historical marker and Dan Hostler tried to contact Mrs. <br />Lippincott and was not able to talk to her. They need to know if she had contacted the <br />historical society concerning the monument. The committee met and approved the <br />drawing and the cost will be from the keno fund. They need information from her in <br />order to proceed. <br /> <br />10 EXECUTIVE SESSION REGARDING REAL ESTATE PURCHASE - Jeffries made a <br />motion and Humiston seconded to go into executive session regard real estate <br />purchase. Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster and Rye all voted <br />yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />11 :58 a.m. executive session <br /> <br />12:20 a.m. Rye made a motion to go out of executive session and Jeffries seconded. <br />Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster and Rye all voted yes and none <br />voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />15 UPDATE REGARDING HALL COUNTY JAIL PROJECT - Chairman Lancaster <br />stated that she wanted to let the public and the county board know that they have not <br />dropped the ball concerning the jail project. Kutek Rock is still watching LB 656 and <br />what the progress is on that. They are waiting to complete the RFP until the county <br />knows what options they will have. <br /> <br />16 COMMENCE AUDIT OF BI WEEKLY PAY CLAIMS AND ACTION ON CLAIM AUDIT <br />AND APPROVE EARLY CLAIM FOR IMSERVICES - County Clerk Marla Conley stated <br />that the State of Nebraska changed their accounting system and this claim was approve <br />to be paid on March 25 but because the name was changed it is necessary to change <br />the vendor and issue a new check. Jeffries made a motion and Hartman seconded to <br />approve the salary claims and the claim from IMServices. . Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, <br />Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster and Rye all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />BOARD ASSISTANT - Board Assistant Stacey Ruzicka reminded the board members <br />about the personnel committee meeting after the board meeting and there will be a <br />computer meeting at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow. She also asked if any of the board members <br />were going to attend the board of equalization seminar in Kearney. She will need to <br />know by April 22. <br /> <br />BOARD MEMBER'S REPORTS - Hartman - no report <br /> <br />Humiston - He attended the interlocal computer meeting and the computer meeting. <br /> <br />7 <br />
