Page 11 <br /> HALL COUNTY MUSEUM BOARD MINUTES <br /> STUHR MUSEUM <br /> The scheduled meeting of the Hall County Museum Board was held on Tuesday, June 23rd, 2026,in the <br /> Edgar&Frances Reynolds Research Center, Stuhr Museum. <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> President Matthew Maser called the meeting to order at 6:59 a.m. <br /> Attending the meeting were Trustees: Matthew Maser,Andy Marsh, Katie Goering, Selena Lukasiewicz, <br /> Kris Nolan Brown, Karen Bredthauer, Hall County Board of Commissioners Liaison. Museum Staff: <br /> Chris Hochstetler, Executive Director, Renae Hunt, Chief Financial& Operations Officer,Bryan Roberts, <br /> Chief Facilities Officer, Matthew Deepe, Director of Research, Rebecca Benger,Director of Immersive <br /> History, Joel Springer, Curatorial Assistant and Dustin Butler, Business Controller. Bonnie Smith, Stuhr <br /> Museum Foundation Executive Director, Sam Scheuler, Foundation Assistant Director. Absent: Kyle <br /> Overturf, Lisa Thayer,Tom Gdowski, Susan Hageman. <br /> NEBRASKA OPEN MEETINGS ACT REQUIREMENTS <br /> Mr. Maser stated, as required by law, a copy of the Nebraska Open Meetings Act is available for members <br /> of the public to view. <br /> REQUEST TO ADDRESS THE BOARD <br /> Mr. Maser asked if anyone wished to address the Board,no one responded. <br /> CONFLICT OF INTEREST ANNOUNCEMENT <br /> Mr. Maser asked if anyone had a conflict of interest with any of the agenda items, and no one responded. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> Motion to accept the minutes from the May 26th,2026, board meeting was made by Andy Marsh and <br /> seconded by Katie Goering. Minutes were approved and will be filed. <br /> HALL COUNTY BOARD LIASION COMMUNICATION <br /> Karen Bredthauer reported department heads at the county are submitting the budgets for their respective <br /> departments. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Contracts for 250th Untied We Celebrate <br /> Music Mariachi Rey Azteca $3,000.00 <br /> Music Killer Tofu $3,200.00 <br /> Performer Garan Coons $2,500.00 <br /> Music Jarana/Daviel Martinez $4,500.00 <br /> Music Leo Lonnie Orchestra $2,400.00 <br /> Motion made by Katie Goering and seconded by Kris Nolan Brown for the approval of payment to be <br /> issued to the performers listed above. Motion carried. <br /> Thomas Mangelsen Exhibition-$9,723.00 <br /> Motion made by Andy Marsh and seconded by Selena Lukasiewicz for approval of this expenditure. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> Finance Committee <br /> Discussion of the May 2026 financials was by lead by Renae Hunt. <br />
