Page, I1 <br /> HALL COUNTY MUSEUM BOARD MINUTES <br /> STUHR MUSEUM <br /> The scheduled meeting of the Hall County Museum Board was held on Tuesday,May 26th,2026,in the <br /> Edgar& Frances Reynolds Research Center,Stuhr Museum. <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> President Matthew Maser called the meeting to order at 7:02 a.m. <br /> Attending the meeting were Trustees: Matthew Maser,Andy Marsh(via Zoom), Lisa Thayer,Tom <br /> Gdowski,Selena Lukasiewicz, Kris Nolan Brown, Susan Hageman,Karen Bredthauer,Hall County <br /> Board of Commissioners Liaison. Museum Staff: Chris Hochstetler,Executive Director,Renae Hunt, <br /> Chief Financial&Operations Officer,Bryan Roberts,Chief Facilities Officer,Megan Sharp,Curator, <br /> Kylie Christenson,Director of Exhibits, Laura Gamboa Urrego,Director of Community Engagement, <br /> Joel Springer,Curatorial Assistant and Dustin Butler,Business Controller. Bonnie Smith, Stuhr Museum <br /> Foundation Executive Director. Absent: Kyle Overturf,Katie Goering. <br /> NEBRASKA OPEN MEETINGS ACT REQUIREMENTS <br /> Mr. Maser stated,as required by law,a copy of the Nebraska Open Meetings Act is available for members <br /> of the public to view. <br /> REQUEST TO ADDRESS THE BOARD <br /> Mr.Chris Rhea,Site Acquisition Specialist for Industrial Tower West,LLC(Viaero) advised dirt work <br /> will begin and work will begin on the foundation of the decorative wall as the monopole is replaced. <br /> CONFLICT OF INTEREST ANNOUNCEMENT <br /> Mr.Maser asked if anyone had a conflict of interest with any of the agenda items,and no one responded. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> Motion to accept the minutes from the April 28th,2026,board meeting was made by Tom Gdowski and <br /> seconded by Lisa Thayer.Minutes were approved and will be filed. <br /> HALL COUNTY BOARD LIASION COMMUNICATION <br /> Karen Bredthauer shared it is busy season with budgets and election of new commissioners. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Shane's Pump and Windmill Service-$5,234.99 <br /> Repairs made to the well to the that services the sprinkler system to Taylor totaled$5,234.99.Motion <br /> made by Tom Gdowoski and seconded by Susan Hageman for approval of this expenditure. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> Finance Committee <br /> Discussion of the March 2026 financials was by lead by Renae Hunt. <br /> Revenue: Facility Sales is up for the month and for the year. Wings Over the Platte continues to generate <br /> gallery sales. <br /> Expenses: notable expenses were Salary and Wages.Amounts listed in Project Construction were for the <br /> garage being built at the Glade Mill to house the Baasch Wagon. <br /> It was noted the Finance Committee reviewed and approved the check registers for April 2026. <br /> Buildings and Grounds Committee <br /> Susan Hageman gave report. <br /> Repairs are being made to the Boarding House. Connection to the city sewer system has begun. <br />
