• Commercial: <br /> 1. Since a full desk review was performed for 2026, we will continue to follow <br /> the market by studying sales. We will make any adjustments as needed. We <br /> plan on taking updated pictures of commercial properties <br /> 2. We will start doing all commercial permit `pick-up' work in-house; the field <br /> staff will do it. Any large commercial/industrial permits or unique properties <br /> will be contracted with Josh Garris. <br /> 2028 <br /> During calendar year 2028, the Assessor's Office plans to accomplish the following: <br /> • Residential: <br /> 1. We will continue using Change Finder to locate and list any properties that <br /> have changed since 2027. <br /> 2. We will keep working on the 6-year review cycle. They will be reviewed by <br /> valuation group. This year, we plan on physically reviewing Grand Island 3, <br /> Grand Island 4, and Grand Island 5. A detailed list can be provided upon <br /> request. <br /> 3. We continue to send out questionnaires to the owner of record before doing a <br /> subdivision in the 6-year review cycle. This gives us information about the <br /> home and notifies them when we are in the neighborhood. <br /> • Agricultural Land: <br /> 1. We will continue working with the GIS department to double-check acres, soil <br /> type, anri land use in Ca,..meron, Harrison, renter, --id Washington townships. <br /> Beyond that, we will keep our land use current according to the information <br /> the NRCS office provides. <br /> • Commercial: <br /> 1. We will continue to follow the market by studying sales. We will make any <br /> adjustments as needed. We plan on taking updated pictures of commercial <br /> properties and reviewing them on Eagleview. <br /> 2. We would also like to measure and take updated pictures of all exempt <br /> properties so there is a detailed record of them. <br />
