Quandt wants to know what Encartele is making and how much the inmates are <br /> spending. <br /> Todd said he can get the amount the inmates are spending. He explained that the <br /> audio and video is what the federal government regulates. The visitation used to be on <br /> site and was free, but with this application families and others can visit remotely, and <br /> people use the remote visitation more than on site visits. <br /> Todd said they are making money off the messaging and radio and there are some <br /> books. They also decided to do some games and can add different things but have not <br /> done that. There are some possibilities they could look at in the future <br /> Sorensen ask if we do not do the contracts then we are responsible for the full payment <br /> for the body scanner. Todd stated that is correct. <br /> Sorensen made a motion and Lancaster seconded to approve and authorize the chair to <br /> sign the Encartele service agreement. DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION TO APPROVE CONTENT AND SECURITY <br /> APPLICATION AGREEMENT WITH ENCARTELE AND AUTHORIZE BOARD CHAIR <br /> TO SIGN — Sorensen made a motion and Lancaster second to authorize the chair to <br /> sign the Encartele security application agreement. Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, <br /> Peterson, Quandt, Richardson and Sorensen all voted yes and no one voted no. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 6. DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION TO REQUEST TO CLOSE ACCOUNT WITH <br /> EQUITABLE BANK, ACCOUNT#163063573 — Todd explained that this account was set <br /> up in 2019 to receive the electronic transfers from the State of Nebraska for the inmate <br /> trust accounts. It has not been used and Equitable will automatically close this account. <br /> He is requesting to close this account. <br /> Sorensen made a motion and Richardson seconded to close the Equitable Bank <br /> account #163063573. Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Peterson, Quandt, Richardson and <br /> Sorensen all voted ye,s and no one voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 7.
