,' 3 g I 1 <br /> HALL COUNTY MUSEUM BOARD MINUTES <br /> STUHR MUSEUM <br /> The scheduled meeting of the Hall County Museum Board was held on Tuesday,April 28th,2026,in the <br /> Edgar&Frances Reynolds Research Center, Stuhr Museum. <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> President Matthew Maser called the meeting to order at 7:11 a.m. <br /> Attending the meeting were Trustees: Matthew Maser,Andy Marsh, Kyle Overturf,Katie Goering,Tom <br /> Gdowski,Kris Nolan Brown,Susan Hageman, Karen Bredthauer, Hall County Board of Commissioners <br /> Liaison. Museum Staff: Chris Hochstetler, Executive Director, Renae Hunt,Chief Financial& <br /> Operations Officer,Bryan Roberts,Chief Facilities Officer,Matthew Deepe, Director of Research, Laura <br /> Gamboa Urrego, Director of Community Engagement,Joel Springer,Curatorial Assistant and Dustin <br /> Butler,Business Controller. Bonnie Smith, Stuhr Museum Foundation Executive Director, Sam Scheuler, <br /> Foundation Assistant Director. Absent: Lisa Thayer, Selena Lukasiewicz. <br /> NEBRASKA OPEN MEETINGS ACT REOUIREMENTS <br /> Mr.Maser stated, as required by law,a copy of the Nebraska Open Meetings Act is available for members <br /> of the public to view. <br /> REQUEST TO ADDRESS THE BOARD <br /> Mr.Maser asked if anyone wished to address the Board, no one responded. <br /> CONFLICT OF INTEREST ANNOUNCEMENT <br /> Mr.Maser asked if anyone had a conflict of interest with any of the agenda items,and no one responded. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> Motion to accept the minutes from the March 24th,2026,board meeting was made by Tom Gdowski and <br /> seconded by Andy Marsh. Minutes were approved and will be filed. <br /> HALL COUNTY BOARD LIASION COMMUNICATION <br /> Karen Bredthauer shared it is the start of budget season for the county. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> ABC Seamless <br /> After lengthy debate comparing the product,workmanship,and reputation of ABC Seamless and J-Tech <br /> Construction it was the consensus that ABC Seamless provides a superior product. A motion was made <br /> by Tom Gdowski and seconded by Kyle Overturf to accept a bid from ABC Seamless in the amount of <br /> $84,156.80 to install steel siding on the exterior walls,soffit and fascia,and metal wrap door and window <br /> openings on the church.Motion carried. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> John Hartford <br /> After a review of bids,a motion was made by Andy Marsh and seconded by Kyle Overturf to approve a <br /> bid submitted by John Hartford in the amount of$38,400.00 to install a sidewalk measuring 6'x 800'x 6" <br /> replacing the current asphalt trail leading to the Pawnee Earth Lodge. It was noted, Reflexion submitted a <br /> lower bid,but unfamiliarity with this new company and lack of references led to John Hartford being <br /> selected.Motion carried. <br /> COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> Finance Committee <br /> Discussion of the March 2026 financials was by lead by Kyle Overturf. <br />
