HALL COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONER MEETING APRIL 21, 2026 <br /> The Hall County Board of Commissioners convened April 21, 2026, by published call in <br /> the County Board meeting room, 200 South Sycamore, Grand Island, Nebraska. <br /> CALL TO ORDER- The meeting was called to order by Chair Ron Peterson <br /> INVOCATION - Jane Richardson gave the invocation. <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE —The Pledge of Allegiance was given in unison. <br /> ROLL CALL — Present on roll call were Karen Bredthauer, Butch Hurst, Pam Lancaster, <br /> Gary Quandt, Ron Peterson, Jane Richardson and Scott Sorensen. Kim Dugan and <br /> County Attorney Marty Klein were also present. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW - Peterson read the notice for a public meeting <br /> subject to the open meetings laws of the State of Nebraska. The requirements for an <br /> open meeting are posted on the door to his left and notices are on the front table for <br /> your information. <br /> AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION —Ron Peterson stated the affidavit of publication was <br /> received. <br /> Chair Peterson stated that the Hall County Board of Commissioners has the discretion <br /> to change the order of the agenda items. <br /> REQUEST TO RESERVE TIME — Chair Peterson called for anyone regarding a request <br /> to reserve time on a specific agenda item and no one responded. <br /> CONSENT AGENDA- Sorensen made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve the <br /> following by consent agenda. <br /> 1. Placed on file the minutes from the April 7, 2026, meeting <br /> 2. 8 Received and Placed on file the 2025-2026 3rd Quarter Report for Public Works <br /> 3. 14 Approved Bi-weekly pay claims <br /> 4. 15 Approved Regular Claims <br /> 5. 16 Placed on file Hall County Sheriff Office report for February 2026, County <br /> Assessor/Register of Deeds March 2026 report <br /> 6. 17 Placed on file Hall County Treasurer's Miscellaneous receipts <br /> 7. 21 Communications none placed on file <br /> Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Peterson, Quandt, Richardson and Sorensen all voted <br /> yes, and no one voted no. Motion carried. <br />
