I1 <br /> HALL COUNTY MUSEUM BOARD MINUTES <br /> STUIIR MUSEUM <br /> The scheduled meeting of the Hall County Museum Board was held on Tuesday, January 27th, 2026, in <br /> the Edgar& Frances Reynolds Research Center, Stuhr Museum. <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> President Matthew Maser called the meeting to order at 7:02 a.m. <br /> Attending the meeting were Trustees: Matthew Maser,Andy Marsh, Kyle Overturf, Katie Goering, Lisa <br /> Thayer,Tom Gdowski, Kris Nolan Brown. Bonnie Smith, Stuhr Museum Foundation Executive Director, <br /> Amy Ostdiek, Stuhr Museum Foundation Liaison. Museum Staff: Chris Hochstetler, Executive Director, <br /> Renae Hunt, Chief Financial & Operations Officer, Bryan Roberts, Chief Facilities Officer, Kylie <br /> Christenson,Assistant Curator, Matthew Deepe, Director of Research, Emily Byerly, Director of <br /> Education, Rebecca Benger, Director of Immersive History, Laura Gamboa Urrego, Director of <br /> Community Engagement, Joel Springer, Curatorial Assistant and Dustin Butler, Business Controller. <br /> Absent: Selena Valentine, Susan Hageman. <br /> NEBRASKA OPEN MEETINGS ACT REQUIREMENTS <br /> Mr. Maser stated, as required by law, a copy of the Nebraska Open Meetings Act is available for members <br /> of the public to view. <br /> REQUEST TO ADDRESS TIIE BOARD <br /> Mr. Maser asked if anyone wished to address the Board, no one responded. <br /> CONFLICT OF INTEREST ANNOUNCEMENT <br /> Mr. Maser asked if anyone had a conflict of interest with any of the agenda items, and no one responded. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> Motion to accept the minutes from the November 18'1', 2025, board meeting was made by Lisa Thayer and <br /> seconded by Tom Gdowski. Minutes were approved and will be filed. <br /> HALL COUNTY BOARD LIASION COMMUNICATION <br /> Karen Bredthauer was absent. <br /> ANNUAL MEETING <br /> a. Board positions and Committee Chair affirmations <br /> i. Matthew Maser—President <br /> ii. Katie Goering- Vice President <br /> iii. Kyle Overturf—Treasurer/Finance Committee <br /> iv. Susan Hageman—Chair of the Building and Grounds Committee <br /> v. Selena Valentine—Chair of the Education Committee <br /> vi. Lisa Thayer—Chair of the Collections Committee <br /> Motion to accept the proposed appointments made by Andy Marsh and seconded by Lisa Thayer. Motion <br /> passed. <br /> COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> Finance Committee <br /> Discussion of the December financials was by lead by Kyle Overturf. <br /> Revenue: Revenue was flat, <br /> Expenses: It was noted that three payrolls occurred during December 2025. <br /> It was noted the Finance Committee reviewed and approved the check registers for November 2025, and <br /> December 2025. <br />
