They <br /> had to apply glue to be able to fasten the boards <br /> He also reported that the state is proposing to replace the TV's in the courtrooms they <br /> will pay for the 83 inch TV's but where they are proposing to put them there is not <br /> power. They brought in an electrician to get an estimate on the cost. Discussion was <br /> held if the county electrician would be able to do the work and Loren said she would be <br /> able to do some of the work. He stated he needs a contact from the state for more <br /> information. It was also suggested to also contact Denise Kozel. Sarah Carstensen <br /> stated she has a contact and will let Loren know. <br /> Loren suggested that they might consider putting an ADA assessable playground at the <br /> park. There are lot of children that come to the park and it would be a great <br /> improvement. He suggested using the ARPA funds. There is a company that sells the <br /> equipment that will mat the fuds for the equipment. <br /> Lancaster suggested doing some research and this consider this later. They need to <br /> wait to see if there are additional ARPA funds this could be a fill in project. <br /> Richardson expressed hearing about private conversations there are no committees so <br /> it need to come to the full board <br /> Loren reported they are going to start biweekly staff meetings they need to address <br /> public safety and look at efficiencies and involve everyone. It is important to do safety <br /> inspections on fie extinguishers monthly and address snow removal with the new staff. <br /> Lancaster understands a group with a couple board members regarding the annex <br /> building. Discussion was on some issues at the annex building and Loren said there is <br /> some concrete work that needs done they need so lava rock ad there is a new back <br /> door. <br /> 9. DISCUSS & TAKE ACTION REGARDING A PLAN TO RETURN/SELL VACUUM <br /> CLEANERS PURCHASED BY THE BUILDING & GROUNDS DEPT. TO ASSIST WITH <br /> CUSTODIAL DUTIES - Loren ask how the board want to proceed selling the vacuums <br /> and how much to charge. He would like to keep a couple vacuums they do loan them <br /> out to departments. They still have 10 left. Discussion was held ad it was suggested to <br /> ask 80% I or 90%. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Hurst seconded to sell the vacuums at 80% of purchase <br /> price and 90% if they have not been opened and offer them to the schools. Bredthauer, <br /> Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and Richardson all voted yes and no one voted no. <br /> Sorensen was not present. Motion carried. <br /> 9 <br />
