COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MEETING AUGUST 2, 2022 <br /> The Hall County Board of Commissiones convened August 2, 2022 by published call in <br /> the County Board meeting room, 121 South Pine, Grand Island. <br /> CALL TO ORDER - The meeting was called to order by Chair Ron Peterson. <br /> INVOCATION - Invocation was given by Ron Peterson <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE —The Pledge of Allegiance was given in unison. <br /> ROLL CALL - Present on roll call were Karen Bredthauer, Butch Hurst, Pamela <br /> Lancaster, Gary Quandt, Ron Peterson, Jane Richardson and Scott Sorensen. Also <br /> present were, County Sheriff Richard Conrad and Board Assistant Kim Dugan. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW— Chair Peteson read the notice of open meeting <br /> law. <br /> REQUEST TO RESERVE TIME — Chair Peterson called for anyone who wanted to <br /> reserve time on a specific agenda item and no one responded. <br /> VERIFY AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION - The affidavit of publication was received. <br /> CONSENT AGENDA— Butch Hurst made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve <br /> the following by consent agenda. <br /> 1. Placed on file the minutes of the July 19, 2022 meeting <br /> 2. 5a Set the bid opening for tire clean-up for August 16, 2022 AT 10:00 A.M. with <br /> bids due Monday August 15, 2022 <br /> 3. 5C Placed on file the Road Department quarterly report and the annual report <br /> 4. 10 Approved appointing Ms. Lisa Thayer to the Stuhr Museum Board of Trustees <br /> 5. 11. Approved the special designated liquor licenses for B & D Management for <br /> September 3, 4, 10, 17 & 24th 2022 <br /> 6. 13 Approved the biweekly pay claims <br /> 7. 14 Approved the early claims for <br /> a) CLIA Laboratory Program, corrections $180.00 <br /> b) Grand Island Utilities corrections $22,900.84 <br /> c) HCDC Inmate Welfare Petty Cash Account Corrections $2,929.69 <br /> d) Black Hills Energy Road $70.04 <br /> e) Grand Island Utilities Road, $944.33 <br /> f) Hall County Cony & Visitors Bureau lodging tax $57,867.30 <br /> 8. 15 Office reports placed on file the Stuhr Museum minutes <br /> 9. 16 Placed on file the Hall County Treasurer's miscellaneous receipts <br /> Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson, Richardson and Sorensen all voted <br /> yes and no one voted no.
