RESOLUTION #22 - D IR <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO SECTIONS 2.03D DEFINITIONS <br /> AND 4.02 A-1 PRIMARY AGRICULTAL DISTRICT CONCERNING DATA CENTERS. <br /> WHEREAS, it has been the intent of the Hall County Board of Commissioners to provide <br /> for the orderly growth and development of the County; and <br /> WHEREAS, in the furtherance of that intent, on April 20, 2004, the Hall County Board of <br /> Commissioners did pass and adopt a comprehensive zoning plan by passage of the Hall County <br /> Zoning Resolution#04-0020, with an effective date of June 1, 2004; and <br /> WHEREAS, on July 6th, 2022 the Hall County Regional Planning Commission considered <br /> said changes following a public hearing held at its regular meeting and recommended approval; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Hall County Board of Commissioners wishes to update and amend the <br /> zoning regulations; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Sections 2.03D Definitions and 4.01 A-1 Primary Agricultural District are <br /> attached in redline format for consideration; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Hall County Board of Commissioners finds that this this proposed use is <br /> consistent with the intent of the A-1 Primary Agricultural District and will provide economic <br /> benefits to Hall County Property Owners; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County Board of Commissioners of Hall County held a public hearing and <br /> considered said proposed changes on July 19th, 2022 upon publication of notice of the same in the <br /> Grand Island Independent, a legal newspaper in the county. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, upon review of the proposed changes and <br /> consideration of the recommendations of the Regional Planning Commission, and the evidence, <br /> testimony, and comments received, the Board finds that the attached changes are consistent with <br /> the intent of the Hall County Comprehensive Plan and will serve the County and its residents and <br /> that such changes as attached including provisions for renumbering, indexing and pagination are <br /> hereby approved and will become effective on August 1, 2022. <br /> Resolution moved by Commissioner CLL."cH <br /> Seconded by Commissioner Pa,nN e l a La INCAS kv <br /> Vote: <br /> Commissioner Hurst: For \I ; Against ; Abstained ; Not Present <br /> Commissioner Bredthauer: For X ; Against ; Abstained ; Not Present . <br /> Commissioner Sorensen: For V ; Against ; Abstained ;Not Present . <br /> Commissioner Lancaster: For )4 ; Against ; Abstained ;Not Present <br /> Commissioner Richardson: For K ; Against ; Abstained ;Not Present . <br /> Commissioner Quandt: For ; Against ; Abstained ; Not Present . <br /> Commissioner Peterson: For(; Against ; Abstained ; Not Present . <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS TH DAY OF JULY 19, 2022. <br />
