Motion carried. 9:05 a.m. Held a Board of Equalization meeting. 9:20a.m. recessed the Board of Equalization meeting until 10:30 a.m. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION Vice Chair Hurst called for public participation and no one responded. 5a COUNTY ATTORNEY —A) DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION TO AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN OFFICE OF VIOLENCE PREVENTION SPECIAL SOLICITATION GRANT APPLICATION FOR JDAI COORDINATOR'S POSITION FOR $91,000 — Deputy County Attorney Sarah Carstensen said that Randy See and Robyn Hassel are working on this grant seeking grant resources for the JDAI coordinator. Some of the efforts for this positions will be to find alternative practices and to keep kids in school and in their community. Lancaster made a motion and Bredthauer seconded to authorize the chair to sign the grant application. Karen noted that this requires electronic signatures.
