Page 12 <br /> Buildings and Grounds Committee <br /> Mr. Deitemeyer gave the report. The Buildings and Grounds Committee met on March 26th, 2022, and <br /> April 7th, 2022. The museum experienced damage due to high windstorms in the month of April. The <br /> corn crib at the Cleary Farmstead blew down and was hauled away. There will be a meeting to discuss <br /> how the loss of this building impact the museum's daily operations. New steps to the Immanuel <br /> Lutheran Church were built by an Eagle Scout, it was the first female Eagle Scout in the district to <br /> complete a project. <br /> Education Committee <br /> Dr. Dexter reported. The Education Committee held a meeting on March 10th, 2022, and April 14th, <br /> 2022. Online HATS classes are being discussed further. The committee is working on a new name for <br /> HATS. <br /> Collections Committee <br /> Mr. Deitemeyer gave the report. The Collections Committee held a meeting on March 8th, 2022, and <br /> April 12th, 2022. <br /> The Committee reviewed 921 items for deaccession; 189 for transfer, 85 to destroy, 472 for auction and <br /> 161 to keep. See list on the Deaccession Proposal form in board packet. The Collections Committee <br /> made the motion, Mr. Maser seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br /> EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S COMMENTS <br /> Mr. Hochstetler referred the board to his written report. <br /> FOUNDATION REPORT <br /> Mrs. Smith briefly reviewed her written report.
