I1 <br /> HALL COUNTY MUSEUM BOARD <br /> The scheduled meeting of the Hall County Museum Board was held on Monday, March 28, 2022, in the <br /> Edgar&Frances Reynolds Research Center, Stuhr Museum. <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> President Ms. Kris Nolan Brown called the meeting to order at 3:02 p.m. <br /> Attending the meeting were Trustees: Ms. Kris Nolan Brown, Mr. Don Deitemeyer, Dr. Robin Dexter, <br /> Mr. Mark Allen, Mr. Torn Gdowski, and Mr. Andy Marsh. Hall County Board Commissioner, Mrs. Jane <br /> Richardson. Foundation: Mrs. Jan Cook, Foundation Board Member. Museum staff attending the <br /> meeting included: Mr. Chris Hochstetler, Executive Director, Mrs. Renae Hunt, Business Operations <br /> Director, Mr. Tom Oshlo, Director of Facility and Grounds, Ms. Kari Stofer, Curator, Mrs. Rebecca <br /> Matticks, Director of Research, Ms. Carly Cremers, Director of Education, Mrs. Karen Hurst, Director <br /> of Marketing, and Mrs. Jennifer Sims, Events, Volunteer, and Membership Manager. Absent Trustees: <br /> Mrs. Ann Martin and Mr. Matt Maser. <br /> NEBRASKA OPEN MEETINGS ACT REQUIREMENTS <br /> Ms. Nolan Brown stated as required by law, a copy of the Nebraska Open Meetings Act is available for <br /> members of the public to review. <br /> REQUEST TO ADDRESS THE BOARD <br /> Ms. Nolan Brown asked if anyone wished to address the Board, and no one responded. <br /> CONFLICT OF INTEREST ANNOUNCEMENT <br /> Ms. Nolan Brown asked if anyone had a conflict of interest with any of the agenda items. No responses. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> Motion to accept the minutes from the February 28, 2022, meeting was made by Mr. Deitemeyer and <br /> seconded by Dr. Dexter. Minutes were approved and will be filed. <br /> HALL COUNTY BOARD LIAISON COMMUNICATION <br /> Mrs. Richardson reported the highlights of the County Board meetings. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Approval of Taylor Store Proposed Bids <br /> Three bids were received for the work on the electrical in Taylor House. Middleton Electric was low <br /> bid at $12,538.00. Motion to accept the Middleton Electric bid was made by Mr. Gdowski. Mr. Marsh <br /> seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br /> COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> Finance Committee <br /> February Financials: Mr. Allen reported. Finance committee met prior to board meeting and approved <br /> the check register and reviewed the financials. No anomalies reported. Admission and Culinary Arts <br /> revenue is up from last year. Expenses are up from last year due to raises in salaries and wages. <br /> Reimbursements from other expenditures for the month of February will be coming from the <br /> Foundation. The Finance Committee will be reevaluating the museum's cash on hand for upcoming <br /> fiscal year. Reports will be filed. <br />
