Lancaster made a motion and Quandt seconded to complete the report with Stacey's <br /> input and submit the report. Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson, <br /> Richardson and Sorensen all voted yes and no one voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Peterson ask if the premium pay was included and it was. <br /> 4 COUNTY ATTORNEY CATASTROPHIC LEAVE POLICY — Sorensen made a motion <br /> and Richardson seconded to go into executive session. Chair Peterson stated that <br /> there are 2 reasons for an executive session. To protect the public interest or to <br /> prevent needless harm of injury to an individual. Present on roll call were Karen <br /> Bredthauer, Butch Hurst, Pam Lancaster, Gary Quandt, Ron Peterson, Jane <br /> Richardson and Scott Sorensen. <br /> 11:56 a.m. Quandt made a motion and Lancaster seconded to go out of executive <br /> session. Peterson stated there were no other subjects discussed no votes were taken <br /> and no action was taken. Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson, Richardson <br /> and Sorensen all voted yes and no one voted no. Motion carried. <br /> ACTION REGARDING EXECUTIVE SESSION REGARDING CATASTROPHIC LEAVE <br /> - Chair Peterson called for any action regarding catastrophic leave. <br /> Lancaster made a motion and Quandt seconded to continue to have Pam Bourne <br /> investigate the catastrophic leave policy and continue to work on the short term <br /> disability policy. Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson, Richardson and <br /> Sorensen all voted yes and no one voted no. Motion carried. <br /> COMMITTEE OR BOARD MEMBER'S REPORTS - Bredthauer reported she toured 4th <br /> street businesses and restaurants and sampled some of the food and also noted there <br /> is a very good bakery. College Park is still working on the utilities issues. They are also <br /> working on a theme for Harvest of Harmony <br /> Peterson noted that the Central District Health department has piles of COVID tests if <br /> anyone needs them. <br /> Richardson reminded everyone that "Go Big Give" is on May 5th and is very easy to <br /> contribute you can just go on line and use your credit card. <br /> Sorensen noted that the first responders and been volunteering to help other <br /> departments with the grass fires. They give the lol first responders a break. We need <br /> to pray for rain. <br /> Hurst stated the county needs to consider keno funds for the rural fire departments. <br /> County Attorney Marty Klein noted that if the Drug court employees leave at any point <br /> and transfer to the state the county will need to consider the roll over benefits. <br /> Peterson stated he met with Jerry Janulewicz and Corey Schmidt concerning the <br /> ambulance agreement they are proposing a 2 year contract with the fees the same as <br /> 12 <br />
