Ms. Kinney noted that with the Public Defender Data it would be a seamless conversion <br /> but there would be no one on site but there are other counties that use this software and <br /> they could contact them. <br /> Hurst made a motion and Lancaster seconded to accept the bid from Defender Data. <br /> Ms. Kenny stted that when she discussed this with Doug Drudik he stated they currently <br /> pay $2.00 to open cases and this would be $2.50 a case. The monthly fee would be <br /> $200.00 depending on the caseloads. Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson, <br /> Richardson and Sorensen all voted yes and no one voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Deputy County Attorney Sarah Carstensen stted she will work on the terms of the <br /> contract and bring it back in 2 weeks. <br /> COMMITTEE AND BOARD MEMBER REPORTS — Bredthauer stated she attended the <br /> Region 3 meeting. She also expressed concern on legislation for Class 4 and 5 felonies <br /> would be the responsibility of the county and that would result in increased costs. Motion carried. <br /> 21C) EXECUTIVE SESSION — REGARDING SECURITY <br /> Held executive session from 11:21 a.m. to 11: 31 a.m. <br /> 4A COUNTY ATTORNEY— EXECUTIVE SESSION —A) DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE <br /> ACTION ON EMPLOYEE LEAVE POLICY <br /> Held executive session 11:31 a.m. to 12:19 p.m. <br /> Sorensen made a motion and Bredthauer seconded to go out of executive session. <br /> Peterson stated that no other subjects were discussed no votes were taken and no <br /> action was taken. Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson, and Sorensen all <br /> voted yes and no one voted no. Richardson was absent for the vote.
