There are a few miles of asphalt at
CAAP and they will be using the zipper to finish removing the broken asphalt on a
couple other miles. Once these roads are done they may put the zipper on the surplus
list. They are cleaning the ditches. There are a number of potholes on Wood River
Road by the Bosselman Truck stop and that was to be replaced with concrete but that
may not get done until the next budget year. They are running close to budget but there
are surplus dollars in personnel because they are not fully staffed. Also has some
personnel issues to discuss.
Bredthauer reported that they cleaned up the stumps and they passed the safety route
inspection. They also received some good training on removing brush. They have also
purchased more fuel to stock pile because the price keeps going up. They are also
spraying the soil so the brush does not grow back. Have to keep moving forward.
Sorensen stated that the office staff getting caught up.
6
