Bredthauer, <br /> Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and Sorensen all voted yes and no one voted no. <br /> Jane Richardson was absent. <br /> 15.DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION TO APPROVE NPERS DEFERRED 457 <br /> COMPENSATION PAN LETTER OF REQUEST AND ALLOW BOARD CHAIR TO <br /> SIGN - Lancaster stated this letter needs to be signed requesting that Hall County can <br /> participate in the NPERS deferred compensation plan. Currently there are 20 <br /> employees that have funds in the previous plans but they can roll there funds to the <br /> state plan. The cost to manage the state plan is .07. Karen questioned if they can roll <br /> the funds to the state plan and Lancaster said they can. <br /> Sorensen made a motion and Bredthauer seconded to authorize the Chair to sign the <br /> letter. Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and Sorensen all voted yes and <br /> no one voted no. Jane Richardson was absent. <br /> 16.DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION TO APPROVE THE NEBRASKA STATE <br /> DEFERRED COMPENSATION PLAN RESOLUTION — Sorensen made a motion and <br /> Bredthauer seconded to approve Resolution #22-014 for the Nebraska State Deferred <br /> Compensation Plan and authorize the chair to sign. Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, <br /> Quandt, Peterson and Sorensen all voted yes and no one voted no. Jane Richardson <br /> was absent. <br /> 18. PUBLIC WORKS —A) SORENSEN & BREDTHAUER UPDATE — Mr. Sorensen <br /> reported that Kelly Olsufka is still the administrative assistant. He suggested that at <br /> some time in the future they need to look at the job classification. They may have gone <br /> backwards on this classification. <br /> They are doing routine maintenance and are looking at the windows for the road <br /> department building and possible replacements. They are looking at the road projects <br /> that are needed and moving forward. <br /> They are finishing the crack sealing and replacing signs. He also noted that they may <br /> have to replace the air compressor and that will be a big expense. <br /> They are working to complete projects on the 1 & 6 plan and Janet has a list and to help <br /> them stay on track. They have completed more projects in the last 6 months than they <br /> have in 2 years. <br /> Lancaster stated that the administrative assistant positon needs to be at the correct <br /> level. Once the probation period is completed they need to address it. <br /> Bredthauer reported that the gas pump upgrade keeps going out and they are having to <br /> buy gas at pump and pantry. She also noted that they are looking at replacing the <br /> windows and will continue to work on that. <br /> 6 <br />
