19.E FACILITIES UPDATE — Doone Humphrey gave an update on facilities to the board. <br /> He stated the new fire suppression in the Court House is holding up good even with cold <br /> temperatures. He can monitor this from home and even though it is close to the roof the <br /> temperature is holding steady at 58 degrees. He told the board to start considering an <br /> upgrade for the AC/Heating system in the Administration Building. The building was built in <br /> 1980s and it very outdated and could fail at any time. He stated this project should be <br /> moved up to a priority within the next 1-2 years. He is currently advertising for 2 employees <br /> and has another that is looking to retire. <br /> 28. COMMITTEE OR BOARD MEMBERS REPORTS. <br /> Karen — Planning Commission update regarding parking lots and the comprehensive plan <br /> being updated. Karen —Midland Area on Aging, Hurst and Sorensen also attended. Meals <br /> were up $4.00 Sorensen asked if any board members had any other options or ideas for TIF <br /> funding outside of city limits. No suggestions were given. Sorensen also stated he received <br /> a call asking if the Ordinance Plant area could be considered for a future county park. That <br /> land is not owned by Hall County. No suggestions were given. <br /> Peterson —Central District Health Dept. has a new minority representative who is also a <br /> principle at Barr Junior High. <br /> Chair Peterson called for any more reports and no one responded. <br /> NEW OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS -Chair Peterson called for new or unfinished <br /> business and no one responded. <br /> Meeting adjourned.
