14 <br /> A) DISCUSS & TAKE ACTION ON FRANSSEN CONTRACT CLAIM <br /> Bredthauer made a motion and Sorensen seconded regarding the contract claim from <br /> Franssen to deny this claim and send notice of the action. Bredthauer, Hurst, <br /> Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson, Richardson and Sorensen all voted yes and no one voted <br /> no. Motion carried. <br /> Deputy County Attorney Sarah Carstensen said Franssen filed the grievance and the <br /> grievance hearing was held and now has filed a lawsuit. She is recommending to refer <br /> this to NIRMA to pursue insurance coverage. <br /> B) DISCUSS & POSSIBLE ACTION ON FRANSSEN LAW SUIT- Bredthauer made a <br /> motion and Sorensen seconded to pursue NIRMA insurance coverage regarding this <br /> claim and suggest that NIRMA contact Pam Bourne regarding this. Bredthauer, Hurst, <br /> Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson, Richardson and Sorensen all voted yes and no one voted <br /> no. Motion carried. <br /> COMMITTEE OR BOARD MEMBER REPORTS — Bredthauer reported that some of the <br /> members on the College Park board will be termed out and they had one person resign <br /> so they will be looking for board members. She also attended the Emergency <br /> Management meeting with the City and there will be an increase in the funding for E <br /> 911 but he was able to take $50,000.00 out of another fund. They also did receive <br /> some CARES Act money. They have not approved the budget of$71,578.00 more than <br /> last year and they will be making a recommendation. There should not be any <br /> personnel increases. <br /> Cahir Lancaster called for any other board member reports. <br /> NEW OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS — Lancaster called for any new or unfinished <br /> business and no one responded.
