TO 9:45 A.M. WWII JACK WILSON REGARDING EVICTION DISCUSSION & <br /> POSSIBLE ACTION Quandt stated that Mr. Wilson was formally a county supervisor, had <br /> served on the MAAA board and is a World War II veterans. He has been a resident of Regency <br /> for 11 years and he received an eviction notice October 20, 2020. Ron Hitch contacted Gary <br /> Quandt regarding this and would like some support. <br /> Veterans Service Don Shuda noted that Mr. Wilson is a World War II veteran and has lived <br /> there 11 years and he received the eviction notice October 20, 2020 and there was no reason <br /> stated. He tried to contact Peg Marsh with Regency and she would not talk to anyone. They <br /> looked at the court documents and there is not past due rent and no other reasons. He is going <br /> to send a letter regarding this and is encouraging people to write letters. <br /> Ron Hitch, 341 Redwood Drive, Grand Island, distributed information. He is on the board of the <br /> United Veterans Club also on the honor guard. He provided information about the Regency <br /> board and he contacted Steve Miles and he stated they have not had board meetings because <br /> of COVID Mr. Hitch stated he wanted to meet with him to come to some type of resolution and <br /> he declined. Mr. Hitch is asking for community support for Mr. Wilson. <br /> Peterson stated does not know the structure of nonprofit organizations but they have room for <br /> 24 residents ad there are 4 vacancies. <br /> Quandt noted we just set up veteran's court and support veterans. <br /> 3 <br />
