The <br /> bidders will still be able to look at the project if they want to. <br /> Hartman questioned if there is a deadline when they have to get the fire suppression <br /> done. <br /> Mr. Humphrey stated they would like to see the egress completed and see a plan for the <br /> rest. <br /> Lancaster stated this will be put out for bids and they will know where the county stands. <br /> Timing makes a big difference. <br /> Hartman made a motion and Quandt seconded to set the bid opening for the fire <br /> suppression and egress for the courthouse for November 10, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. with <br /> bids due November 9, 2020 by 5:00 p.m. Bredthauer, Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, <br /> Quandt, Paterson and Richardson all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> FACILITIES UPDATE. Mr. Humphrey stated that they received 85 trees for the Hall <br /> County Park and the Girl and Boy Scouts helped with the planting. <br /> Quandt ask to have the Board chair sign a letter thanking the scouts for helping with <br /> planting the trees. <br /> COMMITTEE BOARD MEMBER'S REPORTS — Bredthauer stated she attend the <br /> Regional Planning Commission meeting and they awarded a commitment for beauty <br /> award to the gathering place in Cairo and one to 40 North Tap and Grill. <br /> Bredthauer provided information to the board regarding the Senior Center meals. At <br /> budget time there was discussion that they have fund raisers for extra funds and they <br /> did do that. She noted that in 2 months there was a $22,000.00 short fall for the meal <br /> donations. That is a lot of money and it would be very difficult to have fund raiser s to <br /> cover that. She wanted to provide this information to the board. <br /> Lancaster stated it would be very difficult to raise that much money. <br /> Richardson stated that CASA, Stuhr Museum, Central Nebraska Humane society all <br /> have short falls it is across the board. She noted that the Senior Center did have a <br /> parking lot fund raise and it was very successful. She ask if they was a time line when <br /> they might be opening for the exercises. <br /> Lancaster said they work with Theresa Anderson at CNHD and they have discouraged <br /> to have people come in and play cards. <br /> 6 <br />
