Quandt made a motion of investigating into developing a task force for railroad. <br /> Bredthauer seconded the motion. Bredthauer, Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt and <br /> Peterson all voted yes and none voted no. Richardson was absent. Motion Carried. <br /> 16 A. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING FIRE SUPPRESSION <br /> AND EGRESS SYSTEM FOR HALL COUNTY COURTHOUSE.-Quandt made a motion <br /> to move forward with Fire suppression and egress project. <br /> Hartman asked if this had to be done? <br /> Quandt stated the fire marshal is going to make them at some point <br /> Humphrey stated the Fire Marshal wants one done and a plan for the other. <br /> Hartman questioned how much money? <br /> Humphrey stated they budged $100 million for project <br /> Carstensen said the county should do the project and not wait to get removed from the <br /> courthouse and have to find a place for all the court rooms to proceed. <br /> Quandt made a motion to move forward to set bid opening date for Fire suppression <br /> and Egress system for the Hall County Court House. Bredthauer seconded the motion. <br /> Bredthauer, Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt and Peterson all voted yes and none <br /> voted no. Richardson absent. Motion Carried. <br /> 16 B DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING OLD HEALTH DEPT. <br /> BUILDING. —Quandt stated they should move forward with getting rid of stuff and using <br /> space for storage. <br /> Humphrey stated he would like to put garage door in at some point to park vehicles in <br /> and unload with forklifts <br /> Peterson stated it made sense to use for storage, but to patch roof and not replace it. <br /> He stated the door can be later down the road maybe but for now to use it as storage. <br /> Peterson made a motion for old health dept. building to be used for storage and Hurst <br /> seconded the motion. Bredthauer, Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, and Peterson all <br /> voted yes and none voted no. Richardson was absent. Motion Carried. <br /> 16 E FACILITIES UPDATE-Humphrey stated he sent in the information he got from <br /> Clerk's office for Sheriff's grant last week was in amount of $610,000.00 for salaries. He <br /> wasn't sure if Correction's was going to qualify yet. <br />
