Acquisition of road right of way Schimmer east of Blaine <br /> CPNRD acquires drainage easement <br /> Ditch & culver construction by county forces downstream of Blaine <br /> Quandt ask who started this and Economic Development and Steve stated he has not <br /> talked to the property owners they may support this because of the improvement on the <br /> drainage. The city has the drainage assessment district <br /> Harman noted that there is one ditch that is closed the drainage goes in a northeasterly <br /> direction. <br /> C) UPDATE ON DOORS FOR TRUCK SHED — Mr. Riehle provided the board with <br /> information on various types of shed doors. The truck shed is on the west end of the <br /> highway department. He tried to get a bid for tilt up doors but that would involve footing <br /> and framing work. <br /> Overhead panel doors $45,000 <br /> Steel Roll Up Doors $38,000 <br /> Rubber Roll-Up Doors $63,000 <br /> Sliding Metal Doors $ 9,000 <br /> Steve stated it is hard to get a 12 foot snow plow into an 11 foot door. He would like the <br /> rubber roll up doors or the steel roll up doors. <br /> Hartman suggested getting 2 prices for the steel roll up doors. Steve stated this will <br /> have to go out for bids. He needs to determine the type of doors. <br /> Lancaster thanked him for the information. She also noted that Susan Niemoth called <br /> and Steve stated they are doing some ditch work. <br /> Steve reported that they have 2 culverts to put in at Doniphan. <br /> 7. DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION ON SOCIAL DISTANCING TEMPORARY <br /> SPACE FOR MENTAL HEALTH HEARINGS - Clerk of the District Court Valorie <br /> Bendixen provided the board with a letter requesting space for the Mental Health Board <br /> hearings When the Covid 19 issues started they were using Courtroom #3 for the <br /> WebEx hearings The room was large enough to allow social distancing for the herrings. <br /> During that time thee was a reduction in the number of hearings and they would move <br /> the equipment in to the Courtroom for the mental health board hearings and then take it <br /> back to her office until the next requested hearing. The meeting have to be recorded <br /> and she has no control on how long the hearing will be or even when they have to have <br /> a hearing. She expressed concern on the wear and tear on the equipment by having to <br /> move it and it is also time consuming. Now that the health measures have been relaxed <br /> 4 <br />
