BID OPENING FOR MOWER —Todd stated that both bids met the specifications but <br /> the bid from Kubota had a trade in value of$8,176.00 but it was for a 60 inch deck for a <br /> total bid of$19,100.00 it was more mower than they need. <br /> The Grasshopper is a 52 inch deck with a trade in value of$4,000.00 for a total bid of <br /> $9,961.25. He is recommending the bid from Grone's Outdoor Power. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Bredthauer seconded to accept the bid from Grone's <br /> Outdoor Power doe $9,961.25. Bredthauer, Hurst. Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and <br /> Richardson all voted yes and Hartman voted no. Motion carried. <br /> COMMITTEE OR BOARD MEMBER REPORTS - Gary reported that he attended the <br /> Region III via Zoom and stated that in the 20 years he has attended these meeting there <br /> has not been a representative for the new media and Brandon Summer from the <br /> Independent attended the meeting. <br /> Peterson reported that at the next board meeting will have a proposal for the salary and <br /> a job description. <br /> Bredthauer stated that with the COVID issues they wanted to make sure that the <br /> employees were safe. They he also decided to let the employees take care of ordering <br /> their shirts instead of having Jackie do the ordering they will let the employees order <br /> their own they have $200.00 for those items. She also reported that Shawn and Will are <br /> looking for doors for the shop and looking at different options. They are also moving <br /> forward with the shop repairs to the floor and the ventilation system. The COVID policy <br /> was included in the paycheck. <br /> Lancaster stated that she did the Road Department inventory and worked with Rich <br /> Esquistin and he knew where everything was it is well organized.
