PUBLIC PARTICIPATION - Clarence Stevens and Dean Grantham reported to the board on the <br /> 'Walk for the Blue" that was held Saturday. Copy Cat made signs and other people also made <br /> signs. As they were walking people were cheering and honking in support and more people <br /> joined the walk. They baked 20 dozen cookies and provided water for the law enforcement. <br /> Clarence stated that a lady from St. Paul was not able to come so she donated money. They <br /> ask Sheriff Conrad to accept the money for the drug dog. <br /> 9:10 a.m. Held a Board of Equalization meeting <br /> 9:23 a.m. Adjourned the Board of Equalization meeting <br /> 4.9:30 A.M. PUBLIC HEARING FOR RENEWAL OF CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR MID <br /> NEBRASKA DISPOSAL— Bredthauer made a motion and Quandt seconded to open the public <br /> hearing for the conditional use permit. Bredthauer, Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, <br /> Peterson and Richardson all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Mr. Humphrey was present this is a renewal of a conditional use permit for Mid Nebraska <br /> Disposal for a composite site for grass clippings. There have been no complaints and they keep <br /> the weeds mowed down at the site. Lancaster called for questions. <br /> Bredthauer noted that condition use permits have been from 5 years to 10 years and questioned <br /> if it was a good idea to make the resolution for 10 years if the fees were to change it they would <br /> stay the same. They need to be treated the same. Lancaster stated this was a good <br /> discussion. <br /> Mr. Humphrey stated that Mid Nebraska Disposal has been there for 10 years and there have <br /> been no issues. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Bredthauer seconded to close the public hearing. Bredthauer, <br /> Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and Richardson all voted yes and none voted no. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 4A) APPROVE RESOLUTION FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR MID NEBRASKA <br /> DISPOSAL— Hartman made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve Resolution #20-156 <br /> For Mid Nebraska Disposal and leave it the same as the previous resolution and authorize the <br /> chair to sign. Bredthauer, Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and Richardson all <br /> voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 2 <br />
