C) SET TIME FOR DISCUSSION REGARDING COLD PLASMA PROCESS FOR <br /> AIR PURIFYING Mr. Humphrey stated that he had previously mentioned the cold <br /> plasma air purifying system that can be added to the air handling systems in buildings it <br /> will kill molds and virus like COVID. With this system there is clean air he would like to <br /> bring a representative in to explain this. You can also use UV light but I would require <br /> HAZMAT regulations. It would be worthwhile to see what it would cost and it would be <br /> healthier for employees and the public. He stated that the school systems would also <br /> like information on this. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Bredthauer seconded to schedule a presentation on the <br /> cold plasma air purifying. Bredthauer, Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson <br /> and Richardson all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> D) FACILITIES UPDATE — Mr. Humphrey stated that they are moving forward with the <br /> work at the Federal building the wall has been removed and replaced. He is glad to see <br /> that they are using the building. <br /> He reported that he is working on the FEMA grants regarding the COVID expenses and <br /> he may need help with the justification of the expenses regarding the laptops and the <br /> cameras they need to have an explanation and the documentation to make sure that it <br /> will be reimbursed. He would like to have the board take a look at it before he sends it <br /> in. <br /> Lancaster stated that Alaina Verplank expressed concern that they are 3 weeks behind <br /> on titles and would like to see Double Lock help. Lancaster noted the dots on the floor <br /> for certain services. <br /> Sheriff Conrad stated that they have changed the way they enter and exit the building <br /> and eventually security will not be there he thought could have cameras to help monitor <br /> the lines outside and to control the lines in the buildings. <br /> Mr. Humphrey ask if the board wants to put the purchase of the cameras in the grant. <br /> Discussion was held on the cameras and laptops they do not want to jeopardize the <br /> grants the board will help with these issues. Lancaster noted that she attended a <br /> NPERS meeting and Ameritas has the majority of their workforce will be working from <br /> home until December 2021. <br /> Peterson noted an e mail from NACO on the deadlines on these grants <br /> Bredthauer ask how the park running and if he hired any more help. Loran stated he <br /> did not hire anyone and the park is running fine with one bathroom and no showers. <br /> Richardson stated she was glad to see the courts using the Federal building. <br /> Quandt noted they are going to fix the parking lot. <br /> 7 <br />
